Anita Barone

Barone appeared in the fourth-season Seinfeld Episode The Shoes as Gail Cunningham a chef who wanted Elaine Benes shoes. In the early 1990s, Barone appeared as a regular for Carol & Company alongside Carol Burnett. Barone had also played Carol Willick Ross Geller's husband in Friends her first appearance. She left the show as she was seeking the role full-time. was taken over with Jane Sibbett.
